Some of fredrick douglass accomplishments were very fascinating. Fredrick Douglass became the most important leader of the movement for African American civil rights in the 19th century. After escaping slavery in Maryland, he became a national leader of the abolitionist movement in Massachusetts and New York.

When Frederick was young he barely knew his mother, she died when he was a child on a distant forced labor camp. He never knew his birth father. When he turned eight years old, his enslaver made him go work for a family in Baltimore. At a young age Frederick realized there was a bonding between literacy and freedom from his understanding. #toosmart #A+ #history #fredrickdouglass #fypppp #viral
