Plus - I like the direction Soundwaves is giving my teaching. Students are benefitting from weekly pre-tests and being grouped with appropriate support/extension words. It is a lot easier to focus on one whole class sound and then differentiate from there.
Great interactive activities for the lower primary.
Minus - 16 words each week is a lot, students are given 10 if they can handle them.

Maria
- It is good for explicit teaching of each sound
- The program makes it easy to group students into their ability level according to their diagnostic test results
- My class enjoy the online games when they log in which are specific to the weekly focus
- The words are all there for each ability level. Good for extension students too

The online games and segmenting tool are really effective and the students love them !
helps children to pronounce the sound and how to position their mouth.

The games don't work on the EduTouch board
