Flint Hills is an oil company where plastic starts. Because of this company, there has been something created called the oil waste field that is causing people cancer and other illnesses that cannot be fixed and therefore they are not able to work again. It is also known to cause birth effects and is 84% higher chance than the states average. There has been contamination of ground water along with the soil and air. For this reason, water has to be tested 300-400 times a month to make sure it's safe. In bottles of water, BPA is found and it causes brain disorders, liver disease, breast cancer, obesity, and more. 50% of Americans do not have access to curb side recycling and this leads to littering and other things harmful to the earth.
