         <description><![CDATA[<p>Gothic art was a art style that originated during the middilvil period and originated from Northern France out of romanesque art. The art style took the form of paintings, sculpture and architecture. Gothic art took more realistic depictions of the human form with it adding a more complex sense of perspective with its use of chiaroscuro in light and shading.</p>]]></description>

         <title>American war of independence</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The American war of independence started as a result of greater taxes being imposed on Britain's colonies by the crown due to the having to generate income to station the British army and Navy to protect its colonies as well as the British government trying to impose greater control onto its colonies. The small amount of British forces who were sent to suppress what was at first an insurrection and then became a civil war within the Empire. The British forces performed well against the rebels however with Spain and France entering the war the situation became an international war. At this time Britain was also facing the Anglo Dutch war. With the British surrender at Yorktown by both the French army and the American colonial army resulting in a peace treaty and the end to the war.</p>]]></description>

         <title>The first transatlantic cable </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The first transatlantic was constructed and led by Cyrus west field. With the first cable seeing little success in communication with the first communication being between queen Victoria and James Buchanan being meet by extremely slow communication speeds and the project being scraped after the cable was destroyed after the Whitehouse increased voltage in an attempt to increase communication speed. The second cable was laid in 1865 however it was abandoned after it broke. Then finally in 1866 the third cable was laid and was successful with the cable from 1865 being spliced and was also in service.</p>]]></description>

The more prominent member being Claude Monet. The art was aimed at not trying to paint reflection of real life but the impression of what the person, light, atmosphere, object or landscape looked like to them.</p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
