What I saw during the debate was how focused everyone was and how we all had a part in the debate. And what I would’ve done differently was definitely stay as an note taker, and what I found interesting was how even though our side was negative we still won.

I would've have been more prepared as an individual, and instead of having and trying to comeback, but I listen more actively, A moment was when i saw my team work together and listen and combine ideas for the rebuttal.

I found the Rebucal part to be very interesting because because every time we made an argument, the other team tried to deny it and make it less important. I felt a little nervous debating since it was my first debate. I would have preferred to practice more what I was going to say since it didn't sound very clear.

One thing I found interesting during the debate was at the end where prisons in Europe were brought up. This was interesting becuase it brings up another problem of how America treats prisoners. What I would have done differently is given an explantion or a connection on the cost of the death penalty and the cost of national defense instead of just giving the information.

One thing i found interesting is how my team came together during the debate and came up

with great ideas even though we wasn’t really communicating when we was working together before the debate. One thing I would’ve did differently is be more prepared.

The debate overall was really mature and organized. However, I do wish our communication prior to the debate was stronger.
