They have achieved this in many ways ;</p><ul><li><p>Use energy, water and other natural resources responsibly, Integrate environmental sustainability requirements into our business planning and strategies</p></li><li><p>They are committed to work with other industries to reduce their CO2 emissions to tackle climate change. (Target: <strong><em>Net Zero Carbon Emissions by 2050) </em></strong>. As well as maintain a zero tolerance policy towards transportation of Illegal Wildlife and their products.</p><p> </p><p>&gt;Technology</p></li><li><p>They want to keep innovating &amp; investing in the most advanced aircraft technology to address carbon emissions and noise levels through the use of fuel-efficient aircraft design. </p><p><br></p><p>&gt;Efficient operations and infrastructure</p></li><li><p>Qatar wants to focus on  innovation and efficiency to maintain network connectivity. They have implemented over 80 projects as part of our Fuel Optimisation Programme, including enhancing flight paths and collaborating with industry stakeholders for a smoother journey with lower fuel burn.</p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <title>Impact of Covid 2020</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>In May of 2020 experienced  that their  network had fallen to 33 destinations at the height of the pandemic and the travel restrictions worldwide had hit the profits of the business. This led to their aim of <strong>rebuilding its network</strong> in line with global travel demand to reach 110 destinations by the end of the year. Therefore rebuilt its pre-pandemic network.</p><p><br/></p><p>Furthermore during Covid there was <strong>new safety measures</strong> which implemented the most advanced safety and hygiene measures, including the provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for cabin crew and a complimentary protective kit and disposable face shields for passengers.</p><p><br/></p><p>The focus of rebuilding consumer confidence during 2020-2021 where Qatar Airways offered some of the most flexible booking policies in the market, offering a range of options including two year ticket validity, unlimited date changes, the exchange of tickets for a future travel voucher with increased value, and unlimited destination changes. This was to ensure passengers would have the confidence to book travel in a less predictable climate. As well as  Qatar Airways was also committed to honouring passenger refunds, paying out over USD $1.65 billion.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
