In the film review of Goodfellas by Joseph McBride, McBride focuses too heavily on the use of pathos and his opinion to tell the reader how awful the film is. This stance takes away much of his credibility as a film reviewer, he should have focused more on ethos and logos in order to better convince the reader that his review of the film is closer to fact than opinion.
