Using Kahoot as a whole group formative assessment is how I've found to be the most beneficial. It allows me to see if the whole group needs to be retaught or just specific people as I monitor them. Allows you to correct misconceptions after each problem.

I have used Kahoot for many different subjects, mostly math. I also learned at a training last year that there is many teachers who share/save their Kahoots and all you have to do is search the topic you're looking for. I also like how Kahoot builds group work skills when I only give one Ipad per 4-5 kids. They have to talk to each other and agree on the answer. If used for individual students, it is a great quick check on who needs to be retaught the given task.

The Kahoot I used today was for formative assessment in the classroom to classify the elements of a Drama. My students get the opportunity to discuss each question after they have all answered it and are able to clarify any misunderstanding they might have had. Went well as always

Kahoot is a great tool for formative assessment. I have used it for many topics and the students have fun. It is useful for us to know what and who to reteach that specific topic. I like the fact that you can export their responses to analyze.
