A small, female elf rogue(will soon multiclass as a mage of sorts for counterspells) whom is a war vet. Story below.

    Sal was born in [insert year 24 years before current campaign], and had a troubled life. Her parents were wealthy, and supported the homeless people by creating jobs for them with their wealth. They also took in a couple of other children, whom would’ve been Sal’s sisters had this not happened. When Sal was 14, a small group of poor people who had jobs in the house decided they didn’t get enough money. And, instead of asking for a bit more, they snuck into Sal’s parents room, and tried to steal money from their vault. When the two children started to wake up and cry, they tossed them out of the window to keep them silent. And when they were discovered by Sal’s parents, they killed them too. They then took most of their money and left, leaving Sal undisturbed. Sal was able to live off of the remainder of money in the vault, but it was only enough for a year, and even that was stretched. Sal enlisted into the military at 15, and entered the Army branch. She participated in the land war heavily, being promoted to Staff Sergeant before being sent off to help win the naval conflict in the [insert major ocean name here]. She started at Petty Officer 3rd class, and did much better in this field. She generally felt better in the Navy than in the Army, spending 5 years out of 8 in the Navy. She ended her service in the Navy at the rank of Captain (Due to her significant strategy and the death of the captain of the ship), and, in a turn of events, got to keep the light cruiser she was captain of. She was 23 when she left the military, a year after the war ended. She moved to [insert campaign setting here], after finding a place to store her ship, to live out her life and continue her love for the sea.

    Sal is not quick to trust most people, nor is she easy to earn trust from. She tends to be quite ignorant, but will listen if she believes it's important. With her, due to her parents trusting nature leading to their demise, you have to earn your worth to her before she will even remotely trust you. She never has been a group person, and doesn’t work too well when forced to be in one. Unless of course, you interest her in some way. She tends to be more trusting of people with better morales and persistence. And she, too, is quite persistent, she will get her way, whether it be by consent, force, or sheer murder, she will get her way. If by some incredible force she gives up, then you have a really bad problem ahead. But if you manage to get her to trust you, she is quite useful. Due to her war history, she cares a ton about her friends, since most of them died in front of her. Her complete devotion to her friends is a good aid to have, as she won’t let you go down in front of her.

    Other things to know about her is her birthday, November 3rd. She is Lawful neutral. She tends to trust her gut more than others, which allows her to detect liars easier, but(as mentioned earlier) lessens her trust with others. She also doesn’t tell most other people about her findings, since she doesn’t trust many. So if you want information out of her, you’ll likely have to force it, which is like slapping a bear. Her height is 5’ 2”
