My hometown is in Sơn Tây town. According to my mother story, my hometown was very poor and backward. But now, everything has changed. In the past, there wasn't many house had mordern eqiupment like television, electric fans, air conditioners, computers,... but now, everyone have them so they don't have to go to the others house to used or borrow them. Not only that, everyone have more modern things like smartphone or computer, too. It helps them stay up to date with the news, chat to the others or their family at far away and their kids also have devices to study online at home, especially in the current Covid 19 pandemic. It very convinient, right? And if they can up to date with the news, they can up to date with the trend too, so they dress more mordenly. Besides, the education has also improved a lot. All the children at the school-age are allowed to go to school. People there are richer, too. Because they don't work as a farmer like in the past. They work in the factories, small restaurants some of them work in the office in the city, so their income is higher. Because they don't work at the farm much so their are less paddy field and cattle. If you go too my hometown, you can't see many paddy field or cattle like but you can see many cars, mottorbike and high buildings instead. Because they don't walk or use bike like in the past. But the change has made the air at here more polluted than before and the people here are less friendly, too.

But now it's different because many people have invested to rebuild roads to make it easier to travel and also to avoid unfortunate accidents. So now when I go back to my hometown, the roads are cooler, spacious and easier to go than in the past. And now, instead of level four houses, there have been many big houses growing up and my house is no exception, from a small house, it has now been built into a big and beautiful house and full amenities. I still remember the old days when I went back to my hometown, there was a lot of power outage, or had to light kerosene lamps and candles which was very inconvenient, but now it's a lot different when the electrical system is repaired and much better, every house has electricity. Bright, TVs now are not like old TVs without complicated antenna connections, but now they are transformed into modern networked TVs that can be connected remotely and better yet, don't have to suffer from not being able to watch TV when it rains... Much more convenient and useful. My hometown is in a Co Loa - Dong Anh, located in the North of Ha Noi Capital. This place is known for its old villages and long history. Surly they would all have the same feeling that this place is so ancient and old. But this place is almost different from what people think. Although still keeping the ancient features, over time, the rural areas here have to improve to become a new and morden countryside. This also makes a lives of the people here more convinient and easier than before. From long times ago, the farmers here all owned quite large fields and gardens, so to be able to cultivate rice and vegetables to bloom, they used carft farming tools to make crops. Even farming for them the buffalo is an important factor that make plowing easier. However, now that society has developed more, the use of machinery in agriculture has also become more popular, gradually replacing plowing with buffalo. Because the productivity of machines is much higher and faster, it also increase product and profits. Not only that, in the past, the lanes were very precarious and dregraded, they began to appear potholes, scattered gravels and slippery roads because they were not repaired for a long time. However, now the road has become safer because in the village it have been reviewed and repaired so that people do not have worry when moving in the village anymore. The changes to transform into new countryside make people less disordered when they return to their hometown, the power source is also brighter and newer, unlike the old days, every time they go home, they lose power almost every day because electricity in the countryside is often very weak. Another innovation every household has a TV and it's much more helpful when everyone is well infromed about world news happenings like Covid - 19, but most of the old days, every village chief here had a TV. If you evaluate my hometown now, it must be said that it is a success when becoming a new rural area, the people here are also less hard or even richer than before, each family has 1 a motorbike or maybe a car if possible. Although the changes are quite big but my village still retains the inherent ancient features, still the old houses with old gray walls. It also makes me more comfortable and I have no regrets about this change.

My home village is in the southwest of Ha Noi. It was call "Ha Tay"-an old area of the Red River Delta, but it had been merged into Ha Noi for 13 years ago. In last few years, my village has changed a lots. there are a lot of paddy field and not many big building have been built because it's goverment's land. A lot of people goes to Huong pagoda every year so the road has been repaired, there aren't any hole, any creaked road,...... and we also can go through the road without any accidents. In my village, every house has electronic device or house hold electric appliances, like television,cooker,phone,.... In my opinion, it is very useful because we can know how is the weather today,the news, it also reduces ours stress before a hard working day. Because of covid, students have to study online, this is a disvantages for student when they cannot go to school. Now, villagers are working in some factory,company alots, but it still have some people are farmer because they love this job. My village just only use motorbike and bike. They could have bought the car, but they decided not to buy it because take up space. The most beautiful in my village is the paddy field, the second is bamboos so we keep it up to now. There are less paddy fields and instead of farming, most of the villagers now work as workers in large factories. There are many large houses built and people travel by motorbikes or cars now. The villagers are much more richer and fashionable than before. The roads are all cemented and widened. And, every house has modern electronic devices and some has internet to update the information or trend, and students can study online now during the COVID- 19. The quality of education has been improved much more positively. So it is a good condition for students to develop more comprehensively. But it is not for those reasons that Bac Giang has lost its peaceful village nature.

Even the roads are still dusty but at least safer . There are more people who use motorbikes and bicycles instead of walking. My hometown is a rural area,but it changed a lot nowadays.There are still paddy fields,but less.Peoples here used to live in a cottage,but now all of them have been replaced by brick houses.There are more motorbikes and cars along with bicycles now.Many factories have been build and more people work there.The neighborhood now has energy to make life easier such as TV,phone,...but along with that,they spend less time chatting to each other and just mind doing their own works,that's a bit sad to be honest.But i'm still happy that my home town now has technology to help them.The education there is inverted more and more.Seeing my hometown develop,I feel proud and happy.
