Ned Kelly had 3 brothers, (Dan, James and John) . He also had 7 sisters (Margret, Kate Annie, Ellen, Grace, Alice and Mary). When Ned's father passed away Ellen and her children including Ned moved too a hut at Eleven Mile Creek in Northen Victoria. In 1870 Ned Kelly was convicted for a summary of offenses, He was imprisoned for 6 months, He was then sentanced 3 years for theft. Because of all this Ned Kelly approached Alexanda (Fitzpatrick) with a pistol and fired the shot had misssed, But Ellen Kelly had grabbed a metal shovel and whacked (Fitzpatrick) around the head, Ned then fired a second shot and it clipped (Fitzpatrck) on the wrist. Ned Kelly became an outlaw because he was charged for attempted murder of Alexander Fitzpatrick, he was also an outlaw for theft and attemted murder.
