This ain't it chief. We have a whole ten-step program called the Amendments, which checks the power of the government and gives the people basic freedoms. Basically, if that was too complicated for you, our government will value freedom and liberty.  Despite what you think, we're actually better off than when we were together. Just because I taxed you once, apparently that meant I was intolerable. Also, isn't fireworks to celebrate our breakup a little overboard? (like the tea? literally?). Britain has 99 problems but the 13 colonies ain't one.
