For the following week, I will continue with my experiments either digitally or traditionally and expand my confectionary/sweetshop concept.

I created a mood board on my chosen ideas for this project

on the mind map – inspired packaging and illustrations for own redesigned confectionary from Harry Potter.

Overall, I am pleased with my chosen theme for my final project and am looking forward to expand my ideas for packaging and merging many ideas into a Harry Potter-esc collection.

I then began to research other graphic designers and artists who create packaging and brand identity, choosing my favourite packaging for chocolate bars or sweets to give me ideas further along.

I have now completed my project proposal with a Fantasy project title explaining my chosen theme, initial ideas, and what I intend to produce as my final product(s). I have also been researching artists who do product design and packaging and have begun analyzing their work.

For the following week, I will be continuing artist analysis and began creating artist replicas.

After half term, I will continue researching more artists and

experimenting in the artists styles and creating replicas of their chosen pieces.

For the following week, I will be starting more initial sketches and hopefully into experiments in the style of my chosen artists and focusing my designs on packaging and branding on the confectionary products in Harry Potter.

For the following week, I will be starting a recreated logo design for the Honeydukes sweetshop ⁓ sketches, thumbnails, and begin digital work on Photoshop.

For the following week, I will be refining my thumbnail designs and began experimenting with different techniques such as digital and water colour and testing design styles either digital or traditional.

For the following week, I will be beginning my thumbnails for final ideas and for my final products and began creating my pieces digitally.

For the following week, I hope to have completed all my digital and watercolour experiments and begun sketches for my final products for during the Easter holidays. This will give me the opportunity to focus on digitally designing my products after the two weeks off, with completed design ideas.

The following week after the Easter holidays, I hope to have my final sketches completed for my final product design to began producing digitally.

The following week, I will begin digitalizing the packaging designs to explore a final design for this project.

The following week, I will continue finalizing and designing  my product design and detailing explanations of the post-production and the process.

The following week, my final product will be completed with a completed evaluation on the project as a whole and an evaluation of my final design.

After finishing designing my product, I placed my final designs onto mock-up boxes I found on websites Pacdora and Placeit to give a clear vision on how my Fantasy confectionary box would look displayed, with a completed evaluation on my final piece and the project as a whole.
