But all change the day I felt the drums and the people beside me. The involuntary movement break the chains of fear. My body moves by itself and my brain do not care. The shouting, I heard other peoples suffering and problems, and I did not need to they tell me they experiences in words. I could fell the protection. Soon I was also shouting, but my voice was not longer mine. The voices or the ones in the moment, myself, the voice of the ones that could not make it where now in my shouting.  The most beautiful experience in my life. Somehow I knew that my voice was not alone. If something happens to me there will be somebody screaming and in that screaming I will be there.  My body as my mind were free, in peace. I learn that day the importance of the collective but also that we are not alone. 

Olivia tired of this life decides to take a walk and cry. She did not realize how far she went away from town, but now she cannot see it. How will I return? She thought. But there was no way to return. Olivia resigned and decide to continue walking, walking, and walking. Once she was tired, she seat on the floor and continue crying. Hear tears started to form a little golden drum. On the drum written on the top was the word “freedom”. 

Olivia saw the drum and started to play it. With every vibe, she felt more and more pain in her body. But she was no longer in control. The body moves as the body what. Moving with the sound of the drums. The pain suddenly needed to come out. The loudest and most powerful shouting came from her. No matter where you were you can hear Olivia scream. Suddenly people could not ignore the existence of others suffering and the sound of the drums. They started to look at each other, and connect with the people beside them. Olivia in the middle of nowhere continue screaming till she died. She sacrifices her life for the freedom of all people. No one saw her screaming, but all knew she existed. They feel her in their hearts. From that day on, they all continue screaming and playing the drums to honor the sacrifice of Oliva and to acknowledge all the pain they once suffer. 

2. Recognize the others to be part of the collective, and they will recognize you as well.

3.Do not hate the person that harms you and, does not seek revenge. 

4. Acknowledge the drums as the symbol that represents us.

5. Trust the collective. 

6. We are not alone because we have the collective by our side.
 

In the room you will find just in the center a bunch of drums that will be used by the “Batukada”. There are also permanent there in case some day outside the gatherings you want to use them. As we want to connect as a collective the images in the walls are not necessary. The only additional item are the windows. The objective is letting our shouting out to the world. So windows are the portal between the collective and the world. 

·“Batuka”: as the center of the gatherings. 

·Southing: as a symbol of liberation and recognition. 

·Movement: as a symbol of liberation and self-control of the body.

·Collective: as the group of people in the religion, but also as a symbol of unity. 

Once the music stops, there will be around ten minutes to think about the people in the room. Try to feel what there are feeling and let them enter your feelings. Each one has problems and concerns in life. Is important to acknowledge not only your problems but the rest too, because all are there to support each other. To recognize and feel secure there are people that have your back.  Then the other ten minutes will be begging. The minutes of screaming. Scream all you’re feeling because someone in the room will hear them and maybe that person connects with them. We are not alone so by screaming we hear others' voices and we are sure they hear us too. Because we all scream not only for me but for the person beside me and the people that could not scream. Finally, the body needs to relax. The drums again play for ten minutes. The body connects with the music and moves to liberate all the emotions felt 20 minutes ago.
