This is a type of music form. It usually a way to get everyone together in a group setting just to have fun and relax. Compared to presentational music you don't really have to be structured in any way. It is just for everyone to have a good time together. This gets the performer and the audience engaged with each other because they get to hype each other up and get laughs out of each other. For example a music concert, a choir performance, or any where you have people watching you to get a good show. Unlike participatory music where you can go with the flow, presentational you take more time to practice. This form of music is more stressful because you actually have to make time and put effort into practices and this can cause a lot of stress. It is a very great experience at the end which is the best part. I love getting in front of the mirror and just singing my heart out. I use a brush or water bottle or anything I find and just sing. Also when I want to learn a song I go on youtube and put the karaoke version and sing to it. It makes me happy and puts me in a place where I don't have to worry. My friends always make me sing at birthday dinners, in front of new people, church, etc. This goes into my presentational music making. When I was in high school I sang with the choir. I loved it so much. Competition was the most scariest yet most fun I had ever had. It was so stressful practicing and singing everyday. I pushed my voice to limits I never thought I could. It was a competition so I was getting judged on how I sang. I had to be professional and get my breathing technique on point.
