Jay probably liked have and wanted to be with her but since she was dating adnan jay thought to him self he could get closer to her by being friends with adnan. When he became friends with adnan he tried harder to date her. but to no avail he was struck down by him and then she started to date a different guy an older man at her work and he got super jealous so he wanted to meet up with her to talk about it but when they were in the car he started to strangle her. in the podcast the speaker states that jay said that have was saying why while being strangled by adnan.
