I am taking this class as a prerequisite for a MRI program I would like to enroll into. The career I am interested in is Magnetic resonance imaging technician. It’s a 18 month program, but taking some classes here at delta first. I could save money on tuition and get the program done sooner. Learning and understanding sociology will be a great help to work and understand patients. During the first day I didn’t know what to expect. As Harry began to explain the semester and what we will learn my perspective on this class started to change. Of course I do need these credits to benefit for my future, but I have always been interested in the things Harry talked about. I can definitely see myself using the information to guild me in life and understand people a bit more. I’ve always told my wife if we can ask why do we do what we do life will go a bit smoother not easier but I believe you get an understanding of people’s decisions making. I think learning sociology will give me deeper insight on how to ask intelligent questions and understand culture. I think culture is a big part of our bias in life.
