My first graders loved using Kahoot to help review their map skills. It got their attention and it made learning fun! The disadvantage is not having enough iPads for every student to do this on their own.

Some of the games I am excited to try will help reinforce rhyming, addition fluency, sight word practice, I am also excited to try the new Jumble. I think the instant feedback will be helpful in creating formative assessments in the future. ~ Nicky Kulbartz

I have used Kahoot for unit reviews and my classes love it. I usually play it and have students fill in their study guides. This definitely helped students average test scores increase. I would like to start using Kahoot as a formative assessment more throughout the unit. A disadvantage to using Kahoot is my room has terrible reception and the wifi is slow. This means some students are playing and other claim they cannot log on.
- Alli Skül
