I look forward to joining them in creating and sharing formative assessments. I was able to find some games that are already created that will work for my math classes. I plan on using the game I created before PARCC testing to determine if we need to spend more time reviewing these skills before testing

It is a great review tool as well as a fun formative option.  The students like competing against each other to be the best and don't realize that they are "learning" or being tested. Fun tool!

I have already discovered many games that I am excited to try with my students. I can definitely see using Kahoot as a practical and engaging formative assessment in the future. I especially like the quick feedback. One disadvantage is that I do not have enough i pads for all of my students to have their own.

I usually play it and have students fill in their study guides. This definitely helped students average test scores increase. I would like to start using Kahoot as a formative assessment more throughout the unit. A disadvantage to using Kahoot is my room has terrible reception and the wifi is slow. This means some students are playing and other claim they cannot log on.
