         <description><![CDATA[<div>This year we did the <em>CLIL Activity </em>with law and economic's teacher  Donatella Cavion. <br><br>CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) refers to situations where subjects, or parts of subjects, are taught through a foreign language with dual-focused aims, namely the learning of content and the simultaneous learning of a foreign Language.<br>It gives opportunity for the students to think about and develop how they communicates in general, even in the first language".</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><em>Human rights</em> are rights inherent to all human beings, whatever our nationality, place of residence, sex, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, language, or any other status. We are all equally entitled to our human rights without discrimination. These rights are all interdependent and indivisible.<br>Human rights are often expressed and guaranteed by law, in the forms of treaties, general principles and other sources of international law.</div><div><strong>Universal and inalienable</strong><br>It is the duty of States to promote and protect all human rights and fundamental freedoms, regardless of their political, economic and cultural systems.<br><strong>Interdependent and indivisible</strong><br>All human rights are indivisible, whether they are civil and political rights, economic, social and cultural rights or collective rights.<br><strong>Equal and non-discriminatory</strong><br>The principle applies to everyone in relation to all human rights and freedoms and it prohibits discrimination on the basis of a list of categories such as sex, race, colour and so on. <em>“All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.”</em><br><strong>Both Rights and Obligations</strong><br><em>States assume obligations and duties under international law to respect, to protect and to fulfil human rights. The obligation to fulfil means that States must take positive action to facilitate the enjoyment of basic human rights. </em></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The United Nations is an international organization founded in 1945.  It is currently made up of 193 Member States.  (Originally was 51 member States that signed the United nations Charter).<br>The mission and work of the United Nations are guided by the purposes and principles contained in its founding Charter.<br>Each of the 193 Member States of the United Nations is a member of the General Assembly.<br>The current Secretary-General of the UN is Mr. <strong>António Guterres</strong> of Portugal, who took office on 1 January 2017.<br><strong>The Charter</strong> of the United Nations was signed on 26 June 1945, in San Francisco, at the conclusion of the United Nations Conference on International Organization, and came into force on 24 October 1945.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The <strong>Security Council</strong> has primary responsibility, under the UN Charter, for the maintenance of international peace and security.  It has 15 Members (5 permanent and 10 non-permanent members). The Security Council takes the lead in determining the existence of a threat to the peace or act of aggression. It calls upon the parties to a dispute to settle it by peaceful means; in some cases, the Security Council can resort to imposing sanctions or even authorize the use of force to maintain or restore international peace and security. </div>]]></description>
