I do not feel the same way. I believe a phone is very useful, but being unable to survive without it is an exaggeration. A phone as useful as it is for information it can be just as used for false information as anyone can post anything anywhere at anytime online.

I feel she's being dramatic therefore, I don't agree because if I didn't have my phone it wouldn't be the end of the world.

I would somewhat say that we need our phones for a lot of things but not everything we need in life so I'd disagree with her.

I do not feel the same way as the student. A phone is useful you need it to call people and to look up things, but you won't die without a phone.

That means that she is on it way too much, it's better to go outside and do something productive, it's not like your going to die when you don't have the phone with you. For that reason, I don't agree.

I feel like this is over exaggeration and very dramatic but I can understand why she might say this I frequently use my phone too but I also like to take breaks and rest my eyes. I manage to stay long times without my phone or any electronical devices (other than school) for a long time so I don't relate to this.

I do believe Social Media is an important source for news and information, as news can travel at lightning speed causing millions of people to know about something in seconds. It can also be used as a tool to collect opinions, although some sites and users on the sites can go a bit crazy such as on Twitter/X, however it can also be used for good to collect opinions and get to know what others are thinking.

Social media is a faster way to spread information around the world so yes, I think it is important. When something happens, it shows up on social media right away rather than waiting to watch the news or something.

Social media is important but it can be very risky with how it is used. It's much easier than you'd expect to spread false information or just fake things in general with how real everything may seem on the internet today. A recent example could be how A.I makes a lot of things originally seen as impossible or unheard of like a fish with a dog head in water as silly as it may seem.

I think social media can be a vital souce for information and news if you are looking at the right pages there is a lot of misinformation on social media so mot all sources may be correct. But sometimes social media may be beneficial and might be a quick way to spread to many poeple in their homes.

I think it depends on the situations because she could actually not understand what to do as far as survival and her phone would be a way to help her know how to survive. On the other hand, she could be being dramatic saying, "oh I am going to die without my phone," like Bethany from the movie Jumanji. So I honestly don't have an opinion about how I feel about this I am torn.

I feel like she's being metaphorical if that's what it's called, and I think she just meant that she feels like she needs her phone 24/7 which I'm kind of 50/50 with because my phone is my only current source of fun but if I had something else to do, I wouldn't be on it as much.

Social Media can be important sometimes because if you can't go to the library them the internet would be the next way to look for information or books or whatever you are trying to do the internet or social media is another way to do things without having to leave you house or if you are going to one place and doing something for another place at the sametime.
