People display power over others to hide their own insecurities and powerlessness. People often do this by putting others down and using a position of authority to make themselves appear as more in control of themselves than they really are. One example of this is people who feel powerless in their work environment so they act strictly to their children in an attempt to feel the power others wield over them.

Faith is completely trusting something unconditionally. The general idea of faith overall versus religious faith is relatively the same, however general faith has more reliability and structure. Blind faith is believing in something without supporting evidence and personal experience. Blind faith can mostly be related to religious faith because religion is based on stories told over centuries that people today are expected to believe without question. Specifically, religions today are blindly following outdated stories and rules despite many problems and controversy surrounding it's ideas. Personally, I would only have faith in something with significant evidence in the first place so in order for me to lose faith in something, there would need to be evidence proving my belief wrong.

Human beings all have instincts, humans will react to a situation using instincts that come naturally. Humans genuinely are concerned more of their own self-preservation. Everyone is familiar with the term "fight or flight" this is a response to a threatening scenario. The human will often attempt to maximize the chance of survival by being concerned of his/her own safety. A human is going to be prepared to defend him/her self when facing a dangerous situation, it is hardwired into the human's body.

Hope isn’t necessary for survival. Hope is fueled with desire and optimism that can work with survival but isn’t necessary for it. Hope can be a motivation that helps you want to survive but it can be misleading since you may not survive. In life, I hope to always be happy and humble but I know that those things are not guaranteed with my hope but that I have to do something in order to have them. Hope is tricky because although you could hope for something to happen, you need to actually go do it for a result. You can’t always wait for hope but you can go do something and hope for the best.

Humans are absolutely more worried about their own self-preservation than caring for others. It is in human nature to want to survive, no matter what it costs. During this pandemic, examples can be seen around the world of people not caring and still traveling to crowded locations such as beaches. Their excuses include "Well I won't die from this virus, so why should I disrupt my spring break?" Not even realizing that they could carry the coronavirus to elderly people who may not survive. If a situation does not directly apply to a person, it is common to see them turn a blind eye.

There certainly are many people who believe that it is more beneficial to care for others than themselves, but i think the majority of the population is more concerned with self-preservation. I think by nature, humans are more concerned about their own lives than helping others with theirs. People usually make sure that themselves and their families are okay, before going to face other people's problems.

People in this world can do things that I, personally, believe are completely unforgivable. As humans on this planet, we need to work together in a healthy way to ensure everyone's safety. With this being said, the number one violation of human life is when one purposefully sets out to hurt another. Going out of their way to do this, I see it as completely wrong. It is a violation of some human's life when they have done nothing equal to deserve the pain they are receiving. Humans need to stick together and prevent this kind of activity from taking place.

Hope is necessary for survival because you can’t control everything, and you need to hope for some things to turn out well. Hope can be motivating because you are motivated to do your part so something turns out well. For example, you hope to win a game, and you are motivated to do your part to help win. Hope can be misleading because when something you hope for goes bad, you lose the drive to succeed. Things you hope for are success, good health, and good fortune.

People seek power over others because it gives them a sense of control and authority. Control is important because it lessens the odds of someone trying to go against the person of power. Having authority and control allows people to have influence over someone's opinions and actions. This automatically increases the persons odds of staying in power, because they can impact those that are serving/working under them. A person can display power by influencing someone to do something that they might be hesitant to do in the first place, and having power over their opinion. With power comes desire to be in the position, so they will do what they're told in order to make it up to that position successfully. I feel that this can be seen in almost every situation. One example that comes to mind is sororities and fraternities, the pledges will do anything they say in order to make it in and one day be in that position of power. A more intense version of power can be seen in cults. That leader have the ability to influence everyone's mind and sway them to believe that what their doing is necessary and good.

I think humans are naturally caring for each other. Humans become climatized over life though. If they grow up seeing people not care for each other, they are more likely to follow and do the same. If humans are raised in a caring household that has good values, they are more likely to be more caring. This can be proven because often times when we are young, we are the most caring.

People are still being selfish and going out to large public areas rather than doing the proper thing and self quarantining. It goes to show that they aren't thinking about the potential consequences of their actions. They aren't thinking about all of the people they are potentially infecting,or the doctors and nurses working 15 hour shifts just to keep people alive. Humans perspective has always generally been about self preservation rather than helping out one another.

Faith is the idea that you believe in someone or something completely. Religious faith has to do with what someone believes in religion and personal faith has to with the set of rules and ideas that you follow in your everyday life. Many times a person's religious faith will influence one's personal beliefs and have an effect on one's personal faith. Personal and religious faith both reflect one's moral code that they follow and it determines how a person makes decisions in their life. Blind faith is when a person believes in someone or something that they have never seen. Many religions talk about miracles that happened millions of years ago but in reality no one is completely certain if these things happen. Even without seeing with their own eyes many believe in their religion completely and do not doubt that any of these miracles happened, this is blind faith. Many things can cause people to lose faith, the loss of a loved one, sickness, or pain can cause many to lose religious faith. Many times these people think that their god is not able to create harm or pain in their life so they think that their faith is wrong.

I believe that there are things a person can do that are unforgivable. 🤬, murder, or harming a child in any way are things I find past forgiveness. Those people are either no longer here, which leaves the family to grieve for someone taken too early, or can be left with lifelong scars that they will remember forever. Abuse at a young age can cause future emotional issues and mental illness, sometimes making it hard to get a job and/or find healthy relationships. Victims of consistent abuse can have their lives ruined by their abuser, and I find that ruining someone else’s life out of selfishness and a lack of control is something that I personally cannot bring myself to forgive.

Anything can be forgiven. Every issue has a reason behind it, just or not. Whether it be simple acts such as running into someone, or extreme acts like murder. Some things are mistakes that people hold no control to. Yes, you can have anger, but that anger will slowly begin to fade, you will begin to forgive. Acts that are done on purpose are harder to comprehend, These acts will make you angry at what you don't understand. Itś easy to stimulate rage when trying to find out why things happen the way they do.

Strong bonds are very hard to develop and some are hard to break. For example, if someone has a childhood friend who they have grown up with they can develop a very strong bond. However, people must go through hard times and dark times to make their bond stronger. Most bonds can be broken, however, if two people are very mature and can talk things out when things get bad, can let things go, and can forgive, their bond is unbreakable. Family at times can be an unbreakable bond because you love on a different level. Although, sometimes families can fall apart and the bond can disappear.

I would say that humans naturally focus on surviving but we help anyone who will make survival easier, we make friends because friends are similar to a tribe and tribes are how humans survived originally. This is our primitive function as we evolved from primates into a world where it was hard to survive and our goal is to survive, however, survival is easier today because we have homes, stores, guns, technology, and more that make survival easier. Since survival is easier humans do not have to focus on surviving as much so we can be more caring, like caring for pets that will not be food and cannot protect us, like hamsters or snakes.

One thing that separates Humans apart is opposable thumbs. most animals dont have opposable thumbs, so they don't have the capability to hold things and grab things. Monkeys have opposable thumbs and toes, and they can grab things easily. Their problem is that when humans and monkeys evolved from their common ancestor, humans were able to civilize and develope self control and emotions, which allowed the human race to succeed far beyond the limits of monkeys.

The strongest bonds are those formed between two parties when they never initially wanted a part of it. Like the people involved in the Manson Family. Those people were normal people, who never would've signed on if not for the bond they made Charles Manson. The bond they had was very strong, but not unbreakable. No bond is unbreakable, because humans die. A bond cannot be kept if any member of the party is dead. They cannot participate any longer in whatever was happening.

Hope is not necessary for human survival, but is vital for change. Without cavemen hoping to be warm at night, or factory workers hoping for better pay, life would be the same generation after generation, but survival would be fine. Hope is motivating because at a certain point the goal you wish to achieve becomes realistic, and that hope of completion drives you to accomplish your goal. Hope an be misleading because the end goal might seem closer than it is, causing you to take a big leap, earlier than necessary. I hope that the quarantine ends sooner than later, but there is really nothing I can do about that other than continue social distancing.

People display power to make others want to please them. A powerful person is imposing, and doesn't do stuff on their own. They also may be overly loud and open about their amounts of power to hide weaknesses that they find embarrassing or damaging to their reputation. Social media is a great way to display power, all you need to do is say something about someone else that damages them, and you now have the power position. Many people who scour the internet on sites like Twitter or Reddit try to show their power to overcome their own shortcomings by posting on things that they could just look past, but comment on because they feel the need to show others that they are superior.
