We used our knowledge of money/value to complete a trading activity.

The activity included buying cocoa beans, paying farmers, selling cocoa beans to factory managers, paying staff and selling chocolate bars to the shops - A lot of buying, selling and trading!!

The children will Students will be tasked with planning a mission to space, incorporating Olympic athletes as space explorers. Their challenge is to manage the budget, calculate distances, and handle cargo, all while using addition and subtraction skills.

We invited parents in to class on the morning of Monday 21st January to engage with some money problem solving questions with their children. There was the opportunity to physically represent this calculations with replica coinage and to also convert the balances between British and Emirati currencies!
