Communication

Learning to communicate has taken me a very long time, but I slowly figured it out. Communicating with others is crucial both in the business world, and in relationships. This is helpful for negotiating ideas and building trust with others.

Reading/Literature

In the future, I hope to read more and more books in order to become more sophisticated in my language and knowledge. There is a broad spectrum of books, and reading stories/literature allows me to learn. I like to read about theology, fiction, and non fiction books.

Art (Painting and Drawing)

Throughout the years, I have come to the conclusion that God has given me the gift of art. In the same way that God paints the skies, I become inspired to do the same, but obviously with paint or a pencil. I love to sketch and make portraits of people mainly, and I hope to pursue a career in art.

Serving Other People

One thing that I will always stand by is putting others before myself. It doesn't matter who that person is, or what that person has done, but I will always try to help someone. Galatians 5:13-14 says "You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: 'Love your neighbor as yourself."

Horse Riding

I have been riding horses for 10 years now, and it feels very natural to me. I have 3 lovely horses, and one, I've had since I was 11. I don't ride horses professionally anymore, but I ride them monthly. They are beautiful creatures created by God's hands, and I am glad to have them.

SCAD

I have not toured SCAD, but I would love to go here. This school is known for it's great art program, and that is what I hope to pursue in the future.

The Art Institute of Chicago is another great art school. I will be going here over the summer for a week long art program, and I hope to discover new things here.

University of Dallas is a great school, not only for art, but also for other things. They are a catholic university, which also means that they have a theology class. God is the highest, most important being there is, and I would love to learn more about Him at my university.

Multimedia Artist/Animator

According to Youscience.com, becoming a multimedia artist/animator would be a good fit for me. While I do prefer to do traditional art (pencil and paper, etc.), I would enjoy this job, since it allows me to use the gift that God has given me.

Traditional Artist (painting/drawing/etc.)

Being a traditional artist is a huge commitment, since it would be me taking commissions from people, selling my own art, and more. If I do this, I hope to create works of art which depict the Gospel story in some way, that way, I would be spreading the gospel by putting it on display.

Theologian

Though there aren't many women in this career, I would be happy to study God, His nature, and maybe to even teach this at a university. God is the most important being out there, and I wouldn't mind learning about him.

My Parents

My family is very important to me, especially my parents, and they would be a great resource to figure out what my future will be. I usually go to my father for advice and insight on important decisions.

God

I will never not inquire God of the decisions I will make in the future, because it is His will, after all. I do not want to choose my own path since I know it will lead to destruction, so I will ask God to guide me and be my ultimate mentor.

Though this does relate to God, it is of ultimate authority and it is confirmed to be very helpful for decision making and morality.

Music

I love music, whether if I'm listening to it, or playing it. Music is something I use to worship God, study, and even sleep to. I have a broad spectrum of music that I like; From Classical Music, Jazz, 1940s-90s, Classic Rock, Folk, you name it. I prefer older music, such as Bob Dylan, Elvis, The Beatles, The Who, and many more. It is helpful for focusing on something, like washing the dishes or doing homework, or even exercise. Once, I ran a track meet with Led Zeppelin playing in the background, and my time improved by 2 minutes.
