In FDR's speech he says, "The only thing to fear, is fear itself." This means that we should only be afraid of being afraid and that we should be strong throughout the dark time they were in. Trump sounds similar by saying, "There should be no fear." This means that we should not be afraid all together, and we should just be strong against our problems. The quotes above from Franklin D. Roosevelt and Donald Trump both state different reasons about people of our country. Trump feels that locking people of our country will ave our jobs and protect us from terrorism. The following quotes are from Donald Trump and Franklin D. Roosevelt's inaugural speeches state the basic actions our country needs to do in order to thrive again. FDR's actions are more for the people and would allow America to get involves with other agricultural aspects. Trump's actions lean more towards making America more powerful and they don't help Americans communicate as much.
