German people attacked Jewish people in the streets resulting in 91 direct deaths. Over 7500 Jewish businesses and 1000 synagogues were destroyed in the span of one night. 30,000 Jewish men were arrested and taken to concentration camps, marking the first time the government had made mass arrests of Jewish people because they were Jewish.

The doctors were told that they were "mercy deaths" and the patients' families were given false reasons for the deaths. On August 18th of the same year a committee dedicated to killing young children and infants with disabilities was founded and by 1941 over 5000 infants had been killed.

The Italian people began to realize that the war was over on their end and wanted to surrender. However it's not over yet, Germany invades Italy and frees Mussolini while creating the Italian Social Republic. This sends Italy into a civil war between the fascists and the non-fascists. After lots of planning and calculations of the moon and the tide, the allies were able to land on June 6th. Despite having tricked the Germans they still met a lot of trouble on the beaches but eventually they were able to get a hold on the center of France. The Allies started to push towards Paris which sent the French Resistance into a flurry.
