These are my 6 different sources about my sustainable goal project/CEP. The international guideline for animal welfare is helping improve standards of life for animals in some countries that may not treat animals correctly. A way nationally the US is preventing animal cruelty is anti cruelty law makes it illegal to be cruel to animals. A way locally they are helping animals is adding laws such as Animal Cruelty (510 ILCS 70/): Illinois law prohibits a range of cruel actions towards animals, including neglect, abandonment, torture, and killing without justification. Penalties vary based on the severity of the offense. Aggravated Cruelty (510 ILCS 70/3.02): Aggravated cruelty, which involves torture or the killing of animals with a companion animal status (pets), is considered a more serious offense. Animal Fighting (720 ILCS 5/26-5): Illinois law prohibits organizing, promoting, or participating in animal fighting, including dog fighting and cockfighting. Abandonment (510 ILCS 70/3.03): Abandoning an animal is considered cruelty under Illinois law. Animal Welfare Act (510 ILCS 72/): This Act focuses on the humane treatment of animals in facilities like pet shops, kennels, and catteries. These are ways the world is helping animals

Then i topped off all of the dry cat food kibble so the cats had enough to eat once we left even though we had to also feed them wet food. Once that was done i swept up the rooms filled with cat litter and other junk all over the floor.
