Tally
Feelings and reaction to events: In the beginning of part two Tally was worried for Shay because she was not sure if David should be trusted. When she started her journey to the smoke she was confused because of the weird instructions that Shay left her. All of them where riddles that only she could understand. She was also scared because it was her first time ine the unknown. She had never gone out this far from the city and most important of all she was all alone with no one to help her if something happened. During her journey to the smoke there was a bunch of times where she felt intense fear and desperation. In my opinion the time she was the most afraid was when she fell down a cliff and thought that she was going to crash down and die but in the end she was caught by the river. She was also sick of eating spagboll because it was all she could eat for the days she was out and when she saw the elicoptor she was so scared because she did not know what would happen. She was suprised when she learned that pretty's from other cities collaborated with the smoke and that they were actually nice to her when she was found. When she arrived to the smoke shes was suprised to how things were different there. In order to get things she would have to trade some of her possesions for it.She was suprised to learn that some old smokies even drank water without filtering it. It was a real cultural shock. Tally felt so bad for lying to everyone. When she would lie about how she got here and how much time it took or even when she lied about the origins of the necklace that she wore.


David
David trusts tally very much. He has special feelings for her that is why he does feel supsicious about her at all. We can see his feelings when he gives her his gloves and compliments her when she does something good and he often looks at her.

-Tally has just left Ugliesvilleat midnight with her special long-range overboard toward the smoke.
Spagbol:
-Tally is still going toward is destination, but now she's seeing the sea and she fall of a brigde and got cath by her overboard at the last moment and she's riding during the night and sleeping during the day.
The worst mistake:
-Tally jump down the second bridge she pass and luckily the overboard can ride just above the water because of the metals materials in the bottom of the river and she follows the river for four days.
The side you despise:
-Tally arrived at the jonction of two river and she need to decidded witch way to choose between the two and after she choose the good one, she found herself in a landscape of white flowers and she fall asleep there.
Firestorm:
-Suddenly, the flower are burning and Tally woke up in an hurry,before trying to escape,but when she finally arrive at her way out, she got cut by some poeple taht we don't know who they are.
Bug eyes:
-In this chapter, Tally past mst of his time with the new pretty(the ranger) from an other town and they help her with the transport of an helicopter to bring her close by the smoke.
Lies:
-Tally get to see the other and they test her a bit if she have a tracker on her or anything to be able to follow her that she can activate by herself and they take her toward the smoke on their overboard.
The model:
-Shay take Tally to see the Boos who's in the library and explain how things work in the smoke and make her discover the area.
Work:
-Tally has to go to the cafeteria for lunch and everyone went to see her and to know how's the city going and how was her trip.
David:
-Savid took Tally to his "home" to showher where he was born and the only place he feel like it is his real home.
Heartthrob:
-Tally went to the store with Shay so she could trade the spagbol left in her bag.
Suspicion:
-Tally talks a lot with Shay and David and she start to be confortable in the smoke and use to it but some people start to be suspicion about her.
Bravery:

-Tally left UgliesVille to go find Shay. 
-Tally used the note Shay gave her to find ''The Smoke'' 
- The wierd note had four clues:
   ''1. Take the coaster straight past     the gap, until you find one that's long and flat.
   ''2. Cold is the sea and watch for breacks.
   ''3. At the second make the worst mistake.
-  In her journey, she had a sleeping bag, a long range hoverboard and some spagbol to eat.
- She had to make some decisions at times to make sure she stays on the right path. It was difficult because the clues weren't always easy to figure out.
- Finally, she arrived at a spot where it made sens. She arrived in a landscape full of flowers.
- She decided to take a rest and sleep in the flowers hopping she doesn't get seen by the machine that she saw hovering during her journey.
- Sadly, she got woken up by all the flowers burning in flames. There was fire all around her. 
-She realized the fire came from some pretties burning the place down.
-They grabed her and help her get to Shay by leaving her near ''The Smoke''.

"We help the Smokies out, and they help us out,"  p.175
In this passage we can see that other prettys from oher citys actually accept the smokies and don't actually want to convert them like the ones from Tally's hometown.

"you can fly it anywhere, with or without a magnetic grid.And it's the perfect thing for spreading fires." p.173
In this one, we see that even tho the rusties do not exist anymore their technologie is stil usefull to some prettys.

"like most uglies, she was rarely up early enough, and in any case the horizon was always hidden behind the skyline of New Pretty Town" p.146

This shows how uglies are in a controled society where they don't have that much liberty. And the fact that the ugly town is hidden behind the pretty town is like how they put more importance to the prettys than the latter.

This book of the comic book called Uglies Shay's story is connected to the book because is an alternative of a perpective from Shay about all the story that we are reading now and it can give the readers fans of the book a new perception of what Shay's feeling were during that time and how it affect really her and to know the truth about what Tally's is asking herself about Shay.

This movie is related to the book, firstly because of is dystopian society were there's a major different between to classe's that we can clearly see, Secondly in both story there's a group that is against the top group in the society and that are going against the rule to prove a value or a fact to the lower groups in the society and finally in both story we can clearly see that the main character of the story frist fall towards the society and is a shame for it, but after all she stand up and she showed at everybody that she can do it and that she is very brave and does not fear anything and that she can complete the objectives.

We can easily make a connection from the book with the movie divergent. This movie has some ressemblance to the book. For exemple, the divergent's protagonist lives in lies and is really anxious to know the truth. Furthermore, this movie also has some characters who are in conflict with the utopian societies. this article talks about the popularisation and normalisation of plastic surgery around the world. Plastic surgery is becoming more and more something normal in our everyday life. People that don't like their apperence can now pay a certain amount of money to change it and a lot of people don't hesite to do it. In the book, at the age of sixteen, teenagers can choose to become pretty. In this society everyone is a pretty and you have a lot advantages by being one . If you aren't one, you live a more boring life compared to the prettys and are looked down by the pretty's. Real life is a bit like in the book because most people that choose plastic surgery want to be like the pretty's in our world.
