If you are visiting, these tips will help you connect better with the local culture:</p><p><br></p><p>In Medellín, people are very friendly and informal greetings are common. Some typical ones include:</p><p>¿Qué más? is like What’s up? or How’s it going ¿Cómo vas? is like How are you doing? or the most typical, Hola parce, this is a very local word.</p><p>A kiss on the cheek is common between women or between a man and a woman.</p><p><br></p><p>Paisas are very sociable.
