Volunteers are needed to help at concession stands for all Iowa home football games. Anyone 16 and older can help at the stands. If you work you can either get a $20 credit to student fine arts account or students can get silver cord hours. Dates of home Iowa games are 11/2 and 11/23. Sra. Stevens needs volunteers to help cut out laminated posters and other materials for her classroom wall. 1 or 2 students at a time are welcome to come 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 6th mods. Education Assistant for Hoover National Park

Hoover National Park is looking for an education assistant to help with the "Get to know your national park" program for elementary students to be held at the West Branch Public Library every other Wednesday (2:00-3:00). Herbert Hoover Presidential Library Association needs volunteers!!

The Herbert Hoover Presidential Library Association (Yellow House on the hill south of the Museum) is a nonprofit foundation that funds its own programs and activities, and provides program and financial support to the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library-Museum and the Herbert Hoover National Historic Site. They are looking for a volunteer to complete primarily clerical work that can be shared by multiple people.

By supporting the work of the Library-Museum and the Historic Site, the Association encourages students and citizens of all ages to study and better appreciate the life of an uncommon American, Herbert Hoover.

Tutors are needed for after school tutoring at the middle and elementary school. There is also a need for volunteers to travel during the school day during a study hall or PART to volunteer at the elementary school. You will need to provide your own transportation.

WB Youth Basketball is looking for volunteers for an upcoming youth league for girls and boys. We would appreciate your help on Saturday, January 25^th, February 1^stand February 8th at the New/Practice Gym with running the Scoreboards, keeping the Score sheets and Refereeing. Games are scheduled every hour, you can work one or as many games as you would like from 8 to 11:00. We will also be hosting a year end tournament on February 22^nd, time TBD. Tutors are always needed at the Elementary school for after school tutoring help. Please contact Mrs. Hughes if you are interested in serving as an elementary school tutor after school, typically from 3:30-4:00. Students who tutor must have their own transportation to the elementary school, either by riding the shuttle bus or with their own car.
