i think that the image on the right you can't really tell that something bad happened, but on the right you can tell that something major just happened. Also the one on the right, it makes you feel even worse about the person in the picture. I think that because it looks more dramatic and it wants you to go help the people that were affected by the storm.

I believe that the photo on the left was altered to the photo on the photo on the right because the people who altered it wanted it to seem more meaningful and dramatic to the people who were viewing it. This is because the person who altered it wants to win a contest, and thinks that because the colors are more vivid,

With the image on the left, you can't really see all of the details of what is going on, and on the right, the picture looks really dramatic, and more emotional, and will probably be more empowering.

I think the image on the right its a little bit more dramatic. On the left it looks a little less dramatic and colorful. I think they wanted to make it more dramatic and shocking, not looking like a normal day.
