This project aims to foster tolerance and understanding of cultures other than your own. We send each other a Teddy Bear or other soft toy by airmail through the normal postal system. (My suggestion is that the students pick up a stuffed toy that stands for their culture.) Once the “bear” arrives at the partner school, each participating student takes care of the “bear” for two or three days and write down or video record what happens during the days when the “bear” stay with him or her.
