This is a traditional Korean candy and game that is made from melted sugar and a little bit of baking soda. It is then pressed flat and a shape outline is added to the center. Once it is cooled, you begin to poke the shape out with a needle or a toothpick, but you have to do so without breaking it. For this activity, we will be "digging up fossils" from our candy the same way.
