The owner (Trevor) has the power over what the worker does(Sinead). She is pleased to have a job as a cleaner which normally would be seen as a bad job, but she has no choise as she was made to prostitute her self for money. Also you can say that Trevor is the bourgeoisie and that Sinead is the proletariat who is getting exploited by Trevor as he once made her sleep with his friends now she has to clean the club.This an act of domination.

When Sinead was selling her body for money you can say that she didnt have freedom of choice.Her choices were very limited in what she could do in order to make money to support herself and her child

Fraser is a character who demonstrates this "every man for themselves " idea.He framed a guy in an attempt to get what he wants he doesnt care about anyone but himself and if you get in the way of his plans he will cause harm to you.

Through out the whole series theres a clear hierachy between the characters. For example the hierachy of Fraser being Trevors boss and him being the boss of other workers. The lower down the hierachy the less power they have. For example when Cindy had a lot of money she had more power after she lost everything she was vunerable and desperate.

So that she can then purchase material goods that provides her with short term happiness.This is called commodity fetishism,she desires things she doesn't actually need it is strictly out of greed.It is as though she is purchasing these material products in order to come across as a person who has a high status and also to fit in to society.
