Football can encourage the physical by training the body to become adaptable. For example, change of direction is quite an important component of football; however, the physical is encouraged to adapt through agility training, circuit runs, etc. Object manipulation is also of significance; hence, regular interaction with the ball, whether it be passing drills, is encouraged.

Football can encourage the social by creating bonds and relationships between not just teammates but as well as the fans. As a result of built relationships, harmony is a by-product.

Football can encourage the psychological in that it aids with self-regulation. This allows an individual to regulate his/her emotions when faced with hard situations like losing a game.

Courage.

Physically, Football encourages fitness and health maintenance. Physical Health benefits that come from football may be; low risk of injury from everyday tasks, strengthened bones and muscles, great cardiovascular endurance.

Socially, Football encourages conversation between peers or even strangers. This interaction between someone can lead to stronger understanding of the sport but may also build a stronger relationship with you and the other person, e.g; you may follow the same team/club where you can meet-up with this person and go watch a game together.

Psychologically, Football encourages better brain functionality. This works hand in hand with the Social and Physical aspect of Football, when you play a match your body undergoes a lot of stress this leads to better sleep quality in the psychological aspect to ensure great recovery. Socially, being in a team where you feel supported in the psychological aspect your mood would be positive and this will lead to reduced stress and anxiety.

Avishkar

Football in a physical sense and the setting encourages physical activity through motions of movement and organised collaboration within teams. Any football code contains physical exercise in order to build and retain peak fitness and physique and maintain a healthy, functional body. Physical movements within football obtain multiple health benefits such as building strength, cardiovascular health, and improving agility, versatility and flexibility within body functions occurring through physical exercise.

Socially, football encourages social development in a multitude of ways, such as crucial coordination and communication skills within a group setting. Playing within a group setting will increase social cohesiveness, alertness, and understanding when cooperating with others. Furthermore, football enhances crucial personality development and mental endurance by improving one's social cohesion with colleagues and lead to friendships and relationships being built, a necessary component for personal development.

Lastly, football enriches brain functionality and health by the combination of both Social and Physical aspects of football. Football encourages psychological well-being through multiple mental health benefits such as improved mood and morale, self-esteem, discipline and sleep quality, to list a few. Playing football also helps with decreasing stress levels by the release of endorphins, which enhances mood and morale, thus linking back to brain health and management.

As referenced in https://soccerinteraction.com/mental-health-benefits-in-football

• Jacob

Physically: Football are sports involving loads of movements, (transition speed of play) both with and without the ball. Therefore it encourages people to keep moving and stay in a healthy state. This also leads to lowering the risks of injuries since Strong muscles are better able to absorb impact and handle sudden movements .

Socially: Football are team sports, therefore great social skills are essential in order to communicate to teammates and coaches. Football is about 11 players thinking the same way, eg: where to pass, tactics. If one player was unable to communicate well with others, then that position will be the outlier of the team.

Psychological: Football are sports involving quick thinking, composure and dealing with unexpected scenarios. All these example showed above are some key traits which involves players to use their brain, always thinking, eg: which pass is the best and the most effective.

Nick.

Physically: Football can encourage people to be more physical, whether it be getting tired easily, unable to kick a ball far enough, or unable to throw far enough due to lack of strength and endurance. This can be helped by going to the gym and doing some cardio/lift weights or if your a child then going to training sessions frequently and maybe do laps in a pool or some cardio would help increase strength and endurance for younglings.

Social: As well as becoming fit and active, you can have fun and make new friends on and off the field. Football is a team sport which both encourages and requires people to talk more resulting in better social skills. Talking provides coordination with the team, being out of sync means that the team isn't talking and can turn into a real mess.

Psychologically: Football brings out everyone's mentality, the players, the coach and even the spectators based on the way to game feels. Football also improves and requires quick-thinking and composure. This is because there are many times especially in grassroot teams, unexpected situations occur and require the player to adapt in the exact moment. Moments like these can be stressful sometimes if you've taken a touch and the opponents are running towards you. But football can also reduce the stress and anxiety whilst your supposed to play together as a team and need to bare the weight of making crucial decisions that are best for the team.

Aidan

Physical: football can encourage people to be more physical in a variety of ways. It could be just doing some running, kicking a ball around or throwing a ball. If you aren’t very good at doing this it can motivate you to become better and take it seriously. So you might start going to the gym and doing some cardio or lifting weights, whether that be working on legs or arms. If we are talking about a child they could possibly also do some cardio like running or swimming.

Social: Football encourages people to interact with people and create social relationships. This means they are talking to multiple different people per week, which can build up their social skills. Having these social relationships can create things you need for in game scenarios in football. These can include teamwork, cooperation and positive communication. You can also create healthy and safe relationships with teammates and coaches.

Psychological: Football can help people with their mental health. It can help them take their mind off what they’re struggling with. It can also help be sort of like a therapy/distraction. Psychologically, it can also bring out peoples mentality and you need to think hard about game plans and things like that
