It celebrates the resurrection of Jesus on the third day after his death on the cross.
We all spent a slightly different Easter this year than in previous years.  Easter is also an opportunity to spend a day with the family. And this couldn’t have happened this year. All years we all gathered at my house.  This day was also an opportunity to see my uncles and my cousin who live in Perugia and my aunt who lives in Pescara. In recent years, my uncles also brought back many Easter eggs and even a few gifts. Then at Easter we all went to church together to listen to mass. But this year it went differently. It was just me, my sister and my parents. We ate the timbale, the lamb with the potatoes and then the cheesecake. After  lunch we went out into the garden to sunbathe a bit. Then we went to visit my grandmother: not even a hug, only a greeting from a distance.  Then while I spent Easter Monday with my friends this past year I had to spend it with my parents and it was heavier than I thought. We ate outside and cooked the arrosticini and finally we opened the Easter egg that my mother had bought. Then we went to the balcony, rested and then listened to the music that our neighbor had placed. It wasn't two completely fun and interesting days but I'm happy, it could have been much worse.
