Together, the students crafted a short class poem to remind us of the importance of following the “Quickly and Quietly” routine.

We brainstormed words and phrases linked to being calm, respectful, and moving sensibly. We then wove these ideas into a simple but powerful poem that everyone could chant together. This activity not only reinforced our Be a GEM values but also gave students ownership of the routine, helping them to see it as something positive and memorable.
