True grit needs talent. Talent needs practice and effort. for example I might be fun to practice with your friends but thats not Deliberate practice. Deliberate practice is when you practice on perpose. Success is not easy nor is deliberate practice that why you need grit to capture your goals and dreams! You aren't born with a thing that you are good at, you need to practice to get good at it. You don't just wake up one day and you are awesome at cooking, you need to practice to get good at it!

Grit can be a reliability measured with a short survey that measures consistency of passions. It has a consistency of effort put into it. Those with grit are more single-minded about their goals. Some are more likely to persist in the face of struggle and failure. Deliberate practice helps get better than not trying at all. Grit "allows you to show up, again and again." Success is about talent, being able to do something. If you don't have talent, you will not fail. You just need to try harder in what you do. You need deliberate practice and additional preperation. You need to study the work, review what you need to do, and work hard at practice. If you do not practice, you will only get worse. So, to prevent that you need to practice even when its not fun. Success isn't easy, thats why we need to put effort into what we do. All you need to know, is that talent, requires a lot of grit. The secret to success is not to quit. Push yourself to the limits. Reach out of your comfort zone and into your stretch zone. Do your absolute best. Just don't give up

What is true Grit? In the article 'Which Traits Predict Success?' They started of talking about What is Talent? Talent is about deliberate practice, talent is about practice, it takes effort, and requires a good coach. Angela Duckworth was interested in the set of traits that allowed kids to practice deliberately. Duckworth discovered the importance of a psychological trait known as Grit. Those with Grit are more single minded about their goals & are more likely to persist in the face of struggle & failure. One of the takeaways of this article involes growing recognition of "non-cognitive" skills like Grit and self control. Factors like Grit are often the most predictive variables of real world performance. So why did this article start of with the question What is Talent? Well thats because * Success is never easy. That's why talent requires GRIT*

True grit is when you keep on trying even when it seems like you can't take one more step. Even some of the most famous people in history had to once start at the beginning with effort included. In the article, it says that talent requires practice. I think that means that you can't just decide to give up, you need to keep trying because you will once get there if you decide to believe in yourself. Talent just doesn't come to you, you need to actually find something that you love and get better and better at it. Sometimes, you may fall down but you need to get back up again because if you decide to give up, then you will never get to where you want to go without the effort in yourself. If you love to do something then you need to keep adding effort and self confidence because you are capable of doing it. The real question is if you believe in yourself to achieve it.

True grit is believing in yourself and, as the article: Which Traits Predict Success states, "Success is never easy, thats why talent requires grit." After reading and taking notes on this article, I believe that we are determined by grit, that strange force that never lets us give up, thats always motivating us, always there to push us further on into a thing called life. Grit causes us to chase our dreams, no matter how impossible it seems, for nothing is impossible to grit.

After reading the article on Grit, I learned that you are not born with a trait that will determine your success, you have to try and practice to earn success. One thing your are born with is your GRIT, which is your ability to persevere and work at things that aren't handed to you. The article talks about how in a spelling bee, kids who practiced by themselves with notecards, did much better than the kids who had other people quiz them, or kids who just didn't practice that often anyways. This just shows that you have to practice to get what you want, things aren't just handed to you and you aren't just born with talent.

You can be the weakest person on the planet, yet you could be stronger then anyone else, this strength is for the mind, the power of believing that anything is possible.
