I am a family person. My mom is my hero, she is where I get my strength. I have two sisters whom means the world to me. I have been married to a wonderful man named Charles Ford for 18 years. We have had some challenges in the past 7 years. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer in 2015. We went through 4 years of chemo, and by the Grace of GOD, today he is Cancer Free.  years. I have an amazing Step-son, who has blessed us with a granddaughter who is 4 years old. I am currently employed as a Special Education Assistant wit L.A.U.S.D for the past 9 years. I love what I do and would not change it for anything in the world. My goals is to become a Special Education Teacher. I recently obtained my Teachers Permit, and 1 class away from my AA Degree. I have however obtained several Certificates of Completion, and plan on adding my B.A to the list as well. It has taken me awhile to complete community college, but I am very proud of myself. I look forward to this semester at Pacific Oaks College and I would like to wish everyone much success as we take this journey together,
