Jon Don Bosco was and is a Saint that was beatified on June the 2nd, he was born on the 16th of August in 1815.He passed away on the 31st of January in 1888 which is also his feast day.He is now known as the patron saint of apprentices, editors and publishers, schoolchildren, magicians, and juvenile delinquents.He grew up in Italy at the time of his birth famine and drought was spread throughout his homeland.At only 2 years old his father passed away wich pulled his family further into poverty.

Miracle Story-
In this story Jesus heals two blind men who come to Him asking for mercy on their illness.These men had just heard about the Jesus raising a girl from the dead.

Jesus questioned the men if they believed He was able to heal them. In faith they said that they did . Jesus touched them and they were healed.

Parable-The Good Samaritan
a short parable about a man who is robbed and beaten on a road to Jericho.This man is from a country that is against Samaritans.While he is lying on the road badly beaten 3 people pass him who are considered to be just people.The 4th person is a samaritan and he looks after and cares for the badly beaten man by booking him into an inn and pouring oil and wine on him.

The world behind the text.
There was a feud between the jewish and the samaritan.
Oil and wine were both very exspensive meaning he spared no exspense.
He also books the man into the inn and pays for it .

World of the text
religion was a large part of the jewish people of this times life and so that is why Jesus reached them.All of the people based there life choices around the teachings that Jesus Preached to them including this parable.

This parable teaches us many different things on how to be a bigger person .The main thing it can teach is that everyone is our neighbour no matter our race ,age or gender and that we have to look after one another.
