An important geographic feature is the 2 rivers because it gave them water and they could possibly fish there for food and they could have drinking water and water for crops, and it was good to settle their because the rivers gave many materials they need. They could use the Fertile Crescent to get nice farm land and land to build houses or raise animals and their population will grow and that would be good to settle

their because they can have nice fresh vegetables and fruits or meat, and other things that the animals gave them, like milk. Rivers give water to water cops and it will give drinking water to humans and animals. The Fertile Crescent gave good land for the people to farm and build houses and they could possibly raise animals.

Laws were important because they kept people from doing bad things like going around and murdering people or hurting them and taking their valuables and if they do those bad things and break the law they would be punished depending on how bad of the thing they did. Governments also created laws to make Mesopotamia a better place with laws so no one will do bad things to harm others or to harm the environment. The Hammurabi’s laws tell me that Messopotamia wants everyone to be well mannered so they wouldn’t steal or harm others, and they want to be a safe environment for people to live and thrive. The Hammurabi’s laws is important to Messopotamia because less crimes like stealing or doing harm will be prevented because of their displents in their laws, and that would make people not want to commit crimes because of the punishment of doing a crime was usually bad. It is important today because people might of heard of their laws and started to copy it and change a little so the world would be a complex community because not a lot of people will do bad things and laws are important to states and towns because without them it would be crazy and Mesopotamia is like an early example for laws and it could of possibly influenced other governments to create similar laws.

the class divisions were middle class, upper class, and lower class. In the upper class it could of had kings, priests, and government officials they are probably people probably had to learn about religion to become priests. The middle class had farmers, fishermen, merchants, and artisans. Some Artisans probably had to learn about materials and metal and how to craft and melt the metals to make tools. Slaves were at the bottom class and they were taken from war and they had to obey their masters all the time. The classes were created to balance it out and not everyone will do the same things, so work will be done faster. Also if everyone was king and no one knew how to farm or raise food, then they would all die.
