Proverbs, as a form of folk wisdom, depict women as weak, inferior, and subordinate. 

Positive effect: Even people who have not yet developed a sense of non-binary gender concepts can learn about it through learning the English language(the singular they), and contribute to the awakening of their own gender awareness.

• However, in family circumstances, it is fathers who are assigned a more marginal role through language.
