Every day pollution is created, harming not only our health, but the health of the environment, increasing the on-going crisis: climate change. Because of this the Green New Deal was created, it is meant to restore and create a better life for not only us but more importantly our environment. Research shows that the Green New Deal will produce clean air, clean water, energy efficient buildings, and major economic growth. This work is important to me because as a younger member in this generation, I want to see our world flourish as I age, and not worry for the safety and longevity of future generations. And if we do this work, in just 30 years alone we will notice a massive difference in not only our planet’s climate, but our way of living as well.
