I want to point out the parallel between the begining of the book when Huck shows how he doesn't really believe in Christianity and in chapter 8 when he talks to jim about their beliefs, we can see that he kind of does, even if he doesn't want to admit it.

In this part I like how it's shows how Huck changes his perspective on Jim, instead of seeing him as just another slave he starts to see him in a different light. It makes Huck and Jim seem relatable to each other, situation wise.

this makes a lot of sense because in there society that they hated jim and they wanted him to be thrown in jail for a really long time and it shows that not a lot of people liked him and they wanted him in jail and the way the prompt explains is that they think he should go to jail for the same reasons a black man should go to jail too but also it shows is that in their society that they rather see a black man go to jail for doing nothing wrong rather than Jim and I look at it as that it is greatfully unfair because Jim did commit a crime and people want him jail and that is making sense but they also would wanna see a balck man go to jail more than Jim and I see that as super inresonable if the black man didn't do anything.
