LOVE the front covers - shows a broad range of courses, students and experiences

Belly Band - loved the design but think it was confusing for user. Lots of students pick them up and try to take one part. Also makes it difficult to stack at events!

Images look dark and lack colour impact due to porous material

Design - cover of SHC was bright and bold and stands out next to competitors. Liked SHC more than KCC.

The overall content and layout e.g. introduction pages that explain the types of qualifications and levels to the subject area pages condensed over double page spreads.

Some of the fonts (on web) are quite thin, and can be quite difficult to read.

KCC - Colours are much more muted, not as eye catching and doesn't draw attention like SHC

Confusing in terms of offer, some levels only available as an apprenticeship and this is not clear in the prospectus.

Love the student success layouts. Short quotations and impactful images linking to straplines.

Mini guide. I feel like people don't really engage with the mini guide. I feel like even myself when out at schools I direct everyone to the course guide as that is the information that most people want.

Level of Study on both prospectuses is clear and easy to understand.

The design, images, text content and print spec always seem so much more elevated than other competitors to the point that its difficult to find other examples for ideas and inspiration.

Entry requirements and explanation of different Levels

New course content layout. Listing the course levels in the table with the entry requirements. Stripping back the content but allowing them to visit the website if they wish to find out more information.

I like how even though both prospectuses are similar, they both have their own feel, with the front cover being a slightly different design. Feel a few more colours could be used on KCC though.

Adding dates into the next steps section- Open Events, Applicant Evenings, Experience Days, Enrolment etc.

Grouping courses - confusing for students to find their chosen course e.g. Games and Animation under Creative Arts. Some users question if they have to study multiple courses because of groupings.

The use of more realistic photographs in this years prospectus has been really good, but feel like KCC doesn't have as many student life style shots.

Photography/Images - Everything is so bright and eye catching, photos/student successes in each section look great!

KCC photography not as up to date, maybe more photography of classrooms/workshop spaces could be utilised.

Open Event dates being at the front and the back of the prospectus. It's a thing we get asked a lot at Open events, about if they want to come back, and it makes it so much easier for them to remember the next upcoming dates.

Map showing all campuses with addresses and possibly QR code or listing of courses at that site.

Both prospectuses feel high quality from a material/type of paper standpoint.

I don't think we make much noise about this! It's a great USP for the College and its sustainability strategy.

Need to be careful of accessible colours. For example in the next steps section you have a yellow background with white font.
