         <description><![CDATA[<div>This is a high velocity blood spatter. High velocity blood spatter have a small misty appearance. They also have a stain size 1mm and smaller.  Directionality is the pointed end of a blood stain that points in the way the blood was traveling. In this case based off the tails most of the blood appears to be traveling north &amp; west. The angle of impact tells us the angle in which the direction of the blood is going and the surface it hits. It appears that this angle of impact was less than 90 degrees because the stains are elongated. The AOI is determined by using width divided by length.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This is a medium velocity blood spatter, these typically have a stain size of 1-4 mm. Directionality shows us the direction of the blood. In this case based off the tails of the bloodstain they appear to be traveling south. The AOI of this bloodstain may be close to 90 degrees, but isn't quite there. The bloodstains begin to have a circular formation, but because of gravity it elongates the blood drops. The AOI could still be determined by using the width divided by the length of the blood stain.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This is a low velocity blood impact spatter, these are typically larger than 4mm. Due to free falling blood having such a low velocity it has larger droplets. Directionality typically tells us which direction the blood was traveling. In this case it's difficult to determine because some travel upwards and others travel down. However, the AOI is 90 degrees because the stains are circular. Which is concluded because this was the angle formed between the direction of the blood and the surface.</div>]]></description>
