I made the piñata the typical donkey and I made it out of yarn because I wanted it to have a different texture so it would stand out. I also left a hole in the middle to resemble the way they look when you finally break it. The background is done with blue and black acrylic dabbed on with a sponge. I still have to paint the falling candy and glue down the extra string but its coming along well.
