I feel the need to learn to pay attention and demonstrate to others that I value what they have to say.
This also helps in collaborating and interacting with members to improve relations with my peers.

  • Putting in action active listening- trying to focus completely on what the person is saying. 
  • Picking up the key points- and letting the speaker know- Letting them know that you heard them by mentioning the key points you heard them and asking them to clarify.
  • Eliminate distractions- Things that get in the way of my ability to listen such as body language, fidgeting, side conversations etc.
