On these occasions, students can speak directly with professionals and researchers from various fields, and sometimes see direct examples of the various STEM work areas. They can get a clear idea of the kind of work they are interested in.

Starting from exhibitions made by students and teacher we can introduce the subject. It could be followed by a virtual job fair or a career talks, mostly workshops. After that students can put more info to their exhibition, add some after thoughts. My students would definitely benefit from direct contact with a professional, especially if we find people who can engage children. We live in a big ciry so finding representatives of some professions may be easier.

However, my students develop professional internships in the course of their training, where they are in the company of their training areas, where they accompany for a minimum of a month and a half the real dynamics of the company.
