Ingredients 

  • 300 g intrinsic motivation /
  • 300 ml of freedom and opportunity to solve task differently /
  • 5 tsp of variety in tasks /
  • 1000 ml of safe and fun social environment /
  • 2 dl. of scaffolding /
  • 19 tbsp of various materials to use /
  • 3 dl of purpose and goals /
    • Problems and/or issues are recommended for the taste 


Steps

  1. Start off by mixing 1000 ml of a safe and fun social environment with 300 g of intrinsic motivation along with a hint of building on the students’ interests. 
  2. Now measure the 3 dl of purpose and goals. Add problems and/or issues. These are recommended for the taste. Set these aside so that they are visible. 
  3. Now add in the 300 ml of freedom with an open mindset. Stir it for 5 min. remind yourself: that there is no single right answer. 
  4. Remember to add in the 5 tsp of variety in tasks and the 19 tbsp of various materials to use. 
  5. Along the way, remember to add the 2 dl. of scaffolding and whisk gently. 
  6. Now put the mixture into a baking tray. Let it sit for 30 minutes and observe it every 2 minutes to make sure the dough is developing nicely.
  7. Bake for 40 minutes in a 180°C oven.
  8. Once done, remember to taste and note down and share feedback.
