Because of deforestation, there will be lesser trees to release water vapour through transpiration, thus there would be lesser water vapour in the atmosphere to condense into water droplets and rain on earth. Hence, there would be lesser rainfall and the ground would become dry and cracked, contributing to drought. This would allow lesser plants to grow and people would have lesser food for consumption. Deforestation also causes large amounts of CO2 to be released into the air, contributing to Global Warming and climate change.

The impact of deforestation is that there would be less trees that would result in more carbon dioxide in our earth thus there is more greenhouse gases trapped, increasing the earth’s temperature. There will also be a lack of species in the forests since so many tress are being cut down. The people in the tribes that are living in the rainforests will also suffer since they cannot depend on the trees to live anymore as they depend on the trees for food and shelter anymore . They would have to go somewhere else to live. There would also be less recreational sites for people to go hiking or for them to exercise.

Impacts of Deforestation
I think that the impact from the loss of trees and other vegetation can firstly cause climate change and increased of greenhouse gases since plants are the only living things that are able to give out oxygen through photosynthesis. Secondly, soil erosion can also occur as with fewer trees, there will be fewer roots to hold the soil firmly to the ground and prevent the soil from being washed away during rainfall. Thirdly, the Ingenious people living there willl also have fewer crops to harvest and they may die out of starvation.

impacts of deforestation

-when trees are being cut down, there will be less trees to generate sufficient oxygen for us to survive

-there will also be less trees to absorb carbon dioxide from the surrounding air, thus there will be an increase of carbon dioxide in the air, which is a greenhouse gas and will trap heat, causing the earth's temperature to increase (global warning)
greenhouse gases can also cause the ozone layer to deplete

-greater chance of soil/coastal erosion as the soil loosens and becomes more unstable, causing an increase in pollution in forests

-less resources (some herbs and medicinal plants can be found in forests which can help with sicknesses and cancer)

-people/animals living in forests may lose their habitat and shelter, or have insufficient food to grow and survive, resulting in death and decrease of population, and animals/plant species may have greater chance of becoming extinct

-80% of the trees are already destroyed/cut down by people and we have reached tipping point which can cause a lot of harm to the earth so we should not cut down trees :(
